Quickie Update...

    Abbreviated update today, as I got derailed by stuff at home... I'll try to catch up a bit tonight/tomorrow.
    Managed to get together with Matt64 yesterday, and I had an absolute blast. Matt and I blundered through most of the World at War co-op campaign, shooting unruly Axis AI from the Pacific to Berlin. It was awesome to game again with him, and I had so much fun the time went by quickly; it seemed like we only started and it was time to pack up. Matt started out by brutally kicking my ass in competitive co-op, too. Luckily, I was able to find a little bit of a groove, getting some really high (for me) scores. Today, I'll be heading off to see Mum at the nursing home, spending most of the day there with her.

• Disturbing rumor: No Call of Duty: Black Ops beta? 'Lalalalalalalala! I'm not listening!' Rumor apparently started here on Adan News. The official Call of Duty: Black Ops website solicited input via Twitter and Facebook prior to the multiplayer reveal on 1 September, so I think a beta is still possible, even likely.
