So...i'm gonna ramble for a bit, bear with me.

I have a couple of things I would like to talk about today.  I'll start with something positive and then ramble about something I find to be increasingly more apparent and increasingly more irritating.

First....Glod Bless you Reebok.  Thank you so much for your newest commercials for the Easytone shoes.  They are simply put, fabulous works of art....no not the shoes, but the collection of Oh So hot rear ends that grace my tele for 30 seconds at a time.  If you haven't had the pleasure of watching these, I've included a link.  Click on the "View TV" link and enjoy.

Secondly...I wish I was a celebrity.  I would love to be able to cart around heroic amounts of Cocaine and sleeping pills and not have to get in trouble over it.  I would love to be able to break parole and only have to face 30 days in jail.  I would love to be charged with felony possession and get released within 3 hours.  God Damn it America....WTF?  More specifically, California....WTF?!?  We have kids in prison who are serving multiple year sentences for possession of enough weed to get a field mouse buzzed...and these Hollywood fucks get off with the bear minimum regarding punishment.  0.8 grams of coke is a lot of coke....and a felony amount in almost every state if I'm not mistaken.  What do you think would happen if you or I were nailed with that?  Yeah, jail time...immediately.  We'd sit there for 10+ hours in processing...not rushed through in 3. 

I've spent my share of time behind those metal bars for Public Intoxication several years ago and I was there for 14 hours.  That was for being drunk (really drunk) in public...not for having 0.8 grams of coke on me.  I had buddies in college who went to jail for 90 days for less than an ounce of weed...that's right 3 times longer than a certain bitch will get for Parole Violation.  Does the 3 strike thing still count in California?  Are we close to ridding the public of these famous for fucking nothing celebrities.  Frankly, if this kind of shit is on the TV all of the time (which it is), and that is the window into our culture for the rest of the world....then it's no surprise to me at all that Americans are hated more and more every day.  Have we not figured out that if we just stop paying attention to them..if we just stop caring...if we just stop posting pictures of their latest what the fuck ever....they'll simply vanish into obscurity?  God Damnit!  The simple fact that I am irritated by this means that I have fallen victim to it too...I'm discussing it...one way or another...and there in lies the problem...I have become what I hate.  If you know of the two celebs I am talking about, then they got to you too.  Damnit.

So I ask you, do you think they should get special treatment because they are public figures?  I think they should, but in the way of even harsher penalties because they are role models for some (for whose parents I weep).  I think that if an NBA star gets nailed for DUI, he should face the maximum penalty.  Hypothetically he has thousands of little kids looking up to him as a sports god, and what is his lesson?  His message?  "Play hard kids and Practice hard...that way, when you get better and older...you'll earn lots of money, can knock around a hooker or two, and drive wasted all of the time.  You'll have the freedom to say and do things that normal schmucks go to prison for.   It's totally awesome to be a celebrity." 

You know, the more I think about this, the more irritated I become...and it is fucking with my coherency.  I'll spare you my ramblings as they will begin to make less and less sense simply for being fueled by righteous outrage and pure complete hatred.  I'm going to take my thoughts, a bottle Maker's and go sit in a corner...with the lights off....and burn copies of People in effigy.

In apology, if you are now angry because of my words...I apologize...Go back to that Reebok link and look at the fine fine specimens of female beauty....errrr Booty.
