Mere Hours from Freedom...

    Homeward bound! Just a few hours after this Vent, I'll be on my way South for a well-deserved rest. I'm really looking forward to getting together with Matt tonight. Hopefully, everything will go smoothly.

      As of when this blog is being prepared, still no news on the dating front. I'm keeping my Sunday open, just in case. Saturday, of course, will be our often deferred gaming night at the HQ. I'm hoping to get a real feel for the Black Ops experience. I only had a small taste of online, human vs. human multiplayer, and it consisted largely of getting enemy bullets in my ass. Matt, OTOH, has advanced rapidly, already picking up the highly coveted claymores. I will say that some of the early Xbox Live party connection problems experienced in Call of Duty: World at War multiplayer are still with us, tho I didn't play long enough to know whether it was going to be a major nuisance or just an occasional bother. Moving on...
