Games games and games

I finished up the black ops single player the other night.  The story was good, and the twist at the end, while predictable, was fun.  I also found the zombie mode to be very entertaining playing as JFK, that should be fun in mp co-op.

I picked up Kinectimals for the lady.  It's not such a bad game.  Like the other Kinect launch games, it's a glorified tech demo, but there seems to be more of an objective in the game than say a Nintendogs.

Amazon is winging Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood over to me today.  To be honest, I don't know why I preordered this one.  I haven't finished the other two.  The first just got way too repetitious, and the second came right after I finished Saboteur, so I had my fill of climbing.  Also due this week is EA Active 2 for the Kinect.  I know I need to exercise more, so what the hell.

Amazon is running a pre-black Friday deal today.  Some minor deals - Bayonetta (ps3/360) $20, Arkham Asylum (ps3/360) $15, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (psp) $20.

I was pleased with Bama's efforts on Saturday.  Mississippi State is one great player away from being a really good team.  Had Cam Newton have not been shopped around, who knows what might have happened.

Nick Fairley needs to be suspended for the remainder of the season after his cheap shot on Aaron Murray.  I don't recall a dirtier hit.  What I find funny is that some of the more lunatic fringe of the Auburn family suggest that Marcel Dareus should have been ejected for his clean hit that took Colt McCoy out of the BCS Championship, but say that Fairley is a competitor and just "plays hard".   I know Auburn won't police their own program (don't use 2 backups being suspended for a half as signs that Auburn is serious about discipline), so I fully expect to see Fairley in Tuscaloosa.  I hope we're afforded the same courtesy by the refs and allowed to chop block and hit late all we want.  I have a feeling that Saban has been taking this game seriously for a while now, and despite our horrific defensive play, has something in mind for the new Miami.  I expect Bama will need to score 40 points to be in this one, and that's a tall order, but not out of the realm of possibility, given API's defense is even worse than Bama's.
