Going to Comic-Con

After much grief from TicketLeap not being up to the task of handling ticket ordering for Comic-Con, I was able to get through and get my passes.  Unfortunately, a glitch the much maligned TicketLeap prevented me from getting a 4 day pass, so I had to settle for 4 1-day passes.  A minor bummer, but the important part is that I got the tickets.  At least I think I did - I got confirmation numbers and my card was charged.  I have so little confidence in TicketLeap though, I won't be fully pacified until I get my barcodes (which should go out tomorrow).  I know there's a huge "stick it to the man" mentality in geek circles, but there are reasons why Ticketmaster is tops in their field (aside from monopolistic practices).  Ticketleap was a massive fail, and I'd much rather pay a ridiculous service charge than hit F5 repeatedly for 90 minutes.  I believe I'm just going to buy 2012 4-Day passes on site this year, rather than go through this crap again.

That gives me about 4 monhts to get my stormtrooper armor ready.  Should be a fun time.  Now, I just need to stress about getting a hotel when they become available.

Are any other 2o2p'ers making their way out there?
