So, I have had some problems adjusting to the new job, brutal work day, almost brutal drive to and from, and work, sleep, work, sleep schedule.  This is a HUGE hospital.  I don't even know how many beds, but it is actually 4 hospitals that are combined to make one big one.  And, sometimes, almost always, in fact, I am the only one on the IV team that is working that day.  We have one that is "fed up" and burning her sick time for 3 weeks now.  I doubt she's ever coming back cuz she is eligible for retirement.  We all, including management, believe she is just gone.  OK, can't replace her until she has officially quit.  So, I work the whole hospital alone most days.  I have gotten so very GOOD, even EXCELLENT, at starting IVs.  I can see things that just didn't used to be there.  But, there is a limit to what one should endure.  Even management is paging me in the middle of the day to make me take a break.  NO!  I don't need a break!  I need a wingman!  That is one of the "rules".  Never leave your wingman.  Well, I don't have one to leave, and I definately would love to have one to back me up.  Enuf about that.  Just tired, that's all.

Going on our birthday cruise next week.  Yay!  His birthday was in December, mine this month.  Yeh, the big one.  You try to figure out which big one!  View Image  Just comes with the territory.  We all get older every day.  So, I got the hair cut pre-cruise.  Pix to follow after.  Very new do for me.  I was told I look "sassy"   Woot!

That is all.  Life is ooooooo so good!

Good Job on the Smoking. I recently just passed my 7th year of quiting back in Sept. After awhile you may get to the point to where you can't believe you used to Smoke. I know I did.

I'm in SC and we have Jack In The Boxes all over the damn place. We never used to have any until about 5 - 7 years ago, now there's one on every corner along with a Walgreens and Starbucks.

Wasn't Jack in the Box the one that had the huge outbreak of salmonella or something?

\"[H]e reminds me of Thurston Howell III \"\r \r Funny you shoudl say that, because the guy in that commercial is Henry \"Hank\" Bachus, son of Jim Bachus aka Thurston Howell III aka Mr. Magoo.\r \r BTW, we get Jackin The Box out east, but only on cable.

Yeah, we get to see all the commercials..but get none of the food.

Maybe White Castle had it, but Jack in the Box had a salmonella outbreak. Also there was a big deal years ago with a cop here in Phoenix who got a burger full of snot there.

I hate Toyota, too. They can't design a car for someone taller than 5'9\". And they can't design a car for a person who isn't an idiot. \"Gee, Mr. Toyota Owner, you just pressed the remote door lock button but your rear door is open. I'm going to assume you are a complete moron and are about to throw your car keys in the rear seat after locking all the doors. Therefore, I will NOT lock all your doors and you now have to remove the groceries from the back seat, set the groceries down on the ground, close the door, fish your remote key fob out of your pants pocket again, press the lock button again to finally lock the doors, and re-pick up all the groceries off the ground again!\"\r \r And their commercials are just the most pretentious BS this side of Apple.

If I could give a comment a thumbs-up, dkhodz would definitely have one.

I can empathize with you. My brother-in-law has had a setback in his treatment for melanoma. It has probably spread to at least 3 new places. His brother died from melanoma night before last and I'm feeling like \"Scream\"ing too. Good luck.\r \r btw - Given my love of astronomy, I had to pass on this tidbit of information:\r \r A new analysis of Edvard Munch's The Scream provides the precise location where Munch and his friends were walking when he saw the blood-red sky depicted in the 1893 painting, as well as an explanation of why the sky appeared to be on fire. Through Munch's journals, topographic analysis, and a connection to the eruption of Krakatoa, proof now exists that the spectacular twilight seen in one of today's most recognizable paintings was inspired by this dramatic event. \r \r In \"When The Sky Ran Red: The Story Behind The Scream,\" in the February 2004 issue of Sky & Telescope magazine, Donald W. Olson, a physics and astronomy professor at Texas State University, and his colleagues Russell L. Doescher and Marilynn S. Olson reveal how they journeyed to Oslo, Norway, to pinpoint the exact location where Munch stood when he \"felt a great, unending scream piercing through nature,\" inspiring him to put his emotions on canvas.

love the first blog!\r \r I wrote a thing once about western vs. japanese RPGs, and for the the difference all came down to the ability to choose your own fate. It's the main reason why I am starting to love me my Western RPGs over the other type.\r \r And that Two World reference: very cute. And no. It did not justify the purpose of the game.

I saw Lamb of God a few weeks ago, they played about 6 songs, and did a pretty job getting the crowd worked up for metallica.

Man you just had a run in with the very mysterious \"Joe Dirt\" man. Rarely seen outside of trailer parks and Def Leppard concerts. Lucky.
