Shared on Wed, 04/27/2011 - 11:18It is time for me to depart the website, the website when i first joined and up till a yr ago was going in a direction i liked, it was a niche and brought something to gamers that hasent really been seen around, i''ve never been a big fan of main stream type sites, but i also understand the need to go in that direction, but thats one of the reasons i joined 2o2p because it wasnt. Also im a hyper competitive person, at everything i do, not just games and with the huge decline in the competitive side of things on the site i find myself with a handful of people to game with as opposed to 100's. that is by choice and that is how i enjoy gaming, just like some people enjoy playing socially, generally these two sides collide in the forums and in blogs, people are already sensitive enough about normal stuff let alone someone being a bragert who is in the minority. Im also a very straight forward, no bullshit kind of guy, that is my personality and that aggresive type of personality does not fit the direction 2old2play is going, does it mean its wrong? i dont think so, it just doesnt fit in this environment and makes the site look the opposite of what it's trying to portray now. I understand and that and thats why im leaving primarily.
i've made a shit ton of friends here and to them i wish them well, most of them im sure ill see anyway, the community here has allowed me to express myself in ways i never thought i could or would, which is good, but moving forward into whatever i decide to do, i want new insiprations, so with that i have zipped up everything ive collected and done over the years for the site for the members to have. originally it was 4.7 gig because i had lan videos, but i took those out. the file size is 1.7 gig and its compressed.
inside this zip members will have the following items, all 2old2play wallpapers, logo's, mml graphics & spreadsheets, podcast graphics,there is also clan specific stuff that i worked on for profanity, 2old4bs and 2old4forza, these things include logo's, wallpapers , 3d stuff. i also have included the complete set of 2008 lan pictures and 2009 lan pictures. being that im leaving here and i made these things for this site with inspiration from the community, you guys should have access to it all and be able to use it as you see fit. So i give up all rights to said items because i will not need them.
