I just wasn't having a good day... I got lucky tho that I missed the tendon on top of the knuckle. It wasn't a big cut, but it was pretty dang deep, and it didn't seem to want to stop bleeding at first. The doc at the walk-in said stitches were required because of the location. A bandage and/or dermabond weren't going to cut it, no pun intended. On the bright side, it means I'll be seeing my Sweet Gal tomorrow sometime, tho I won't be doing anything strenuous, lol.
On the gaming front, I wound up ordering Unreal Tournament 2004 on eBay. It was a fraction of what it would cost retail, and it was far easier than rooting through the 10,000 CD jewelboxes that litter the vaults of the HQ. I'm hoping to have that by the time I get back from this work rotation. It's a very good FPS shooter, with a lot of variety, especially with umods. I can do a few quick matches in a half hour, keep my hand in, so to speak, in gaming. The campaign modes of other games just take far, far too long to plow through, good as they are. More shooters should have bots, like Black Ops, to allow for some quick diversion when not able to delve into a full game. Moving on...
