I only got to play a bit of Alice and Child of Eden.
Alice - it seems decent enough. I have a love/hate with platformers, and so far, I don't hate it. The controls work better than I had expected. The environments seem large and there are lots of secrets to find, which will come in handy if the game has staying power. It plays well, but the story/plot hasn't really brought me in yet. I've only gotten through the first part, so can't really say for certain, but as of now, it's looking like a competent, yet unremarkable platformer.
Child of Eden - I didn't play it on Kinect - was too tired. This one seems like it will be very good. I played the first level, failed twice, then passed it on my third try. I played again to try to better my score. I see this as having some replayability and longevity. It's trippy/wild/cool, and is a chill out game wrapped in a shmup. My main impression is Rez meets Every Extend Extra. Granted, one level in, but I have a feeling this game could be special.
