Sup w/da Sick One

WORK:

Two days after my birthday on July 18th, I along with 3 other windshield delivery drivers got laid off.  2 days later I called my old boss where I worked for 5 years, 5 years ago, driving for a Mechanical Supply warehouse.  Yesterday was my first day back....making more than I was when I left, and only .50 cents lower than what I WAS making delivering windshields.  Yay for dumb luck and leaving a job on good terms, and being able to return!!  And I work days now instead of nights....my vampire like tendencies are freaking out!!!!

LIFE:

After my divorce, I kind of got back with my sons mother for a couple month's, until she had to be shipped off to rehab for alcohol and pills for 4 months.  In that time I had my 20 year High School anniversary, and got re acquainted with my old high school crush/girlfriend, I hadn't seen in 20 years. and we totally hit it off again, like we never missed a day....she lives an hour and a half away, and comes to town to visit her family every weekend, and we've been seeing each other also.  I ended it with my sons mother, and was honest with her, and all went better than I expected with that, she came back for 3 weeks, and now is gone again for another 4 months, to try to get rid of her demons.  I on the other hand have never been happier with a woman than I am now!!!

BAND:

Were in full recording mode, recording a 12 song album, I laid my drum tracks down in 2 sessions, one take each song, of each session....yeah, I'm a beast!!!!  The guitar tracks were finished last week, doing bass this week, and vocals next week, then mixing and shit, so it should be completed by the end of September.  Then were gonna go live in October with a cd release show, and hopefully play out once a month or so.   Go check out our site  www.reverbnation.com/shadowgrove  the songs there are off our 2007 demo, we re recorded all those songs, plus 6 new ones.  The songs up now are soon to be taken down, in preparation for the new recordings m/

GAMING

Haven't had a whole lot of time to play much lately....tho I have been vegging out and making Halo Reach maps and games!!!  Just got Dead Space 2 from Gamefly.....have never played it....played for a couple hours yesterday....I'm liking it. I had to get a new 360 a few months back...got the slim....250gb HD....pretty sweet, seeing that I was still on my brought back from the dead twice 1st edition 360!!   Hopefully with my new day time work hours, I can get back to a normal schedule, and get caught up on whats new and exciting in the world of Xbox!!
