Week 2.....

I am currently soliciting membership from two different clans. Somebody suggested I PM the moderators directly to better get their attention. So I have done that, and per suggestion, I have also sent a friend request to a Borderlands group. I’m not sure how that works, exactly. I assume that everyone is friends with the one, and then we all view that one’s friends to find people online playing? Is that how it goes? I am unfamiliar with these kinds of things. But I am learning as I go, which is cool.

Clearly, the most exciting news this week is that I am a grandma….. again… But this time – finally - It’s a Boy!!! Now we have someone to carry on the Dixon name! (My husband is so proud. You should see him struttin’ around, mumbling about the size of his balls and whatnot - it is absolutely adorable.)

Did anyone else hear about those hp Tablets on sale for $99? Ed got the breaking news on Friday. Man, was he freakin’ out! They were like instantly sold out everywhere around here. I had to keep reminding him that we don’t have an extra $99 in our budget for a tablet we don’t need. It’s not that I’m particularly miserly, It’s just that we’re on a very tight budget right now, and I need more than 30 minutes to schedule in extra expenses. He understands, but wonders ‘what is the point of working two jobs if we’re still broke all time’. I can’t blame him for his frustration; I get frustrated too. We have a lot of removable debt right now that we’re tackling, but it should get noticeably better around Dec-Jan. (Suddenly I wonder to myself about the ‘too much information’ rule…)

Last week, when I posted my blog, I did not have a picture for it because I couldn’t figure out how. Well, I posted the question, and quickly got a useful response. I guess it was silly of me to think that the Blog Title would actually be oh, I don’t know, the title of the blog! (*rolls eyes*) I have spent hours trying to resize it – and it’s still not done yet – so here’s what I want to know: Whose idea was it to pick such unnatural dimensions? What a pain in the ass……

I’ve made a couple of new friends, got a new grandbaby, learned a little about clanning, fought with some pixels, and got myself a rare 5-kill killstreak in BLOPS.
