Where Suldrun falls off the wagon...

 It wasn't long before Suldrun and Lidya, her housecarl, became spectacularly lost in the wilderness and retraced their steps back to Whiterun. During the expedition, dragons were overcome, Sabercats declared Suldrun a mortal enemy of their species and wolves took to severely disliking her, but Suldrun returned home triumphant clutching, with a delighted grin on her face, numerous pairs of boots to her chest. I dare not catalogue what was left behind in favor of the boots. XD At last count, Suldrun now owns well over 50 pairs of boots, more jewelry than the Jarl of Whiterun can put together and more than 100 articles of clothing. What can I say? A girl has to look her best.

After the setback, Suldrun decided to do something easier, like seeking out the Greybeards. Even though the trip was a roaring success down to the excorcising of a wannabe ghost who is now a ghost for real, the lack of boots for the taking was a disappointment.

On her way to dispatch a dragon who is behaving like such a dick that the Jarl put a bounty on the wyrm's head, her housecarl was killed by bandits. In return, Suldrun raized their encampment in werewolf-form and when she was done, even the crickets didn't dare chirp for a while. Filled with grief, Suldrun cut her expedition short and returned to Whiterun. Vowing to be done with adventuring for a while, she cast off her armor and weapons and donned her fondest boots and dress to go and drink away the memories of Lidya in the Bannered Mare. Accepting a drinking contest challenge (and winning it), she wakes up in a temple in Markath! Her drinking buddy abonded her and the priestess isn't all too happy about Suldrun's rampage through the temple, but Suldrun's sweet tongue soothes the priestess' anger and Suldrun quietly exits the temple, stage left. (And with a severe hang-over)

Now Suldrun finds herself in Markath wearing nothing but her nicest dress, finest jewelry and her fondest boots... The search for her drinking buddy can begin, as he still has to make good on his end of the bet...

LOL! How roleplaying can influence your game... Suldrun is in Markath, but being dressed the way she is, leaving Markath isn't a very inviting proposition. Time to explore Markath and buy some basic gear and weapons, so that the search for her drinking buddy can begin. Maybe she can pick up a follower in Markath as well, as Lidya is now pushing daisies... (Yes, I can fasttravel to Whiterun and pick up my gear, but that isn't very roleplay now, is it?)
