Christmas has come and gone!! Kids of all ages had a blast opening up their presents, and everyone was happy with what Santa brought them!! The grandkids did particularly well this year, as one set got a Wii and controllers, and the other set got an Xbox Kinect. It was a blast watching them cavort with the tiger cubs for a while yesterday morning. My beloved Effie and I exchanged gifts, and I must say I'm humbled by the love and thoughtfulness that went into hers. The loveliest gift was a silver pendant in the 'I love you' sign, which is just too awesome for words. Effie, I love you, my honey!! I will love you Forever. Promise.
Almost feeling well again, thankfully! The nasty cold that had me whipped for about two weeks is almost gone. Best of all, it looks like my beloved Effie dodged a bullet and didn't catch it from me! We got through Christmas mostly unscathed except for slight brownie meltdown in the oven while getting snacks ready for Christmas Day guests. Now, we've got another milestone ahead, as we get ready for our first New Years Eve as a married couple, too. Awesome!! Moving on...
