I didn't play much yesterday. I did the Cooking and Fishing dailies in Darnie and half-heartedly created a Sim in my Sims3 game. I didn't touch SWTOR, mainly because of the maintenance and the fact that I went to bed at 8PM and fell into some sort of coma from which I awoke 12 hours later. I think that has to do because of the med-schedule I'm following. I'm down to one Oxynorm a day now, because of the compound effect of it. I only need to take one now to keep the pain managable. So, the sleeplessness I experienced due to Oxynorm twice a day catched up with me and sleep returned with a vengeance.

I got Rockband 3 from games on demand for 2000MSP. Joy of joys, I don't have to worry about the disk becoming damaged anymore! I was still waiting on the replacement game I ordered, but due to RB3 now being being available on XBL, I could cancel that order! And get this, the Games on Demand version was €15 cheaper than the physical copy I had ordered! Who is a happy puppy? That's right, I am!

Buy once, play forever. I love digital destribution. The media is cheaper because you're not buying fluff like casing, inserts and disks. And if you get digital copies even cheaper than discounted physical copies, who am I to complain?

I'm still debating on what class to try next in SWTOR. The Sith Knight is absolute weaksauce and I didn't like Bounty-hunter much. I have played the Bounty-hunter for a good while and though I think that the skills are good, I just don't like the class as much as I thought I would. I tried Bounty-hunter first because I figured it would be the closest to the WoW-hunter in terms of play. That is, a ranged DPS class in general. For my taste though, the Bounty-hunter was ho-hum.

Though, if my next tries with the Sith-sorcerer and probably the Imperial Agent also turn out to be meh, I see myself returning to the Bounty-hunter. Mostly because of my 80 days of playtime I have left. (My sisters gave me a timecard for the hollidays) If I had been less skittish about giving my CC-details to Origin (why don't I just throw my money out on the streets and be done with if I go full on Origin?), I would prolly cancel my sub at the end of the free month. Right now, there isn't much in SWTOR that lets me coming back for more and it most certainly doesn't have the pull WoW has. Not that I play WoW religeously still, it's more like, "hey, I feel like doing some quests and go for X-item" now. WoW doesn't have the all-nighter pull anymore for me. Yet, I play WoW enough to keep a yearly sub on it, which is cheaper if you play on and off than just buying a timecard when I feel the urge to grind some skill or other.

One of my best friends on XBL is getting RB3. It's something he wanted to do for a long time but other games kept getting his attention. He got a guitroller for christmas from a family member he had been talking to about rockband. Mainly about how he couldn't play because of the fact that he didn't had a guitroller. Very thoughtful gift indeed, but that does mean he has the guitroller, but not the game! So, for him, RB3 being available on XBL now for next to nothing but a song comes very convenient! We're looking forward to rocking out together. It'll be fun!
