    A quiet New Year's Day at home, as Nan and Effie whipped up a really nice turkey dinner for us. We didn't stay up much longer after watching the ball fall on New Year's Eve, lol. My Gamer Gal and I passed the time with some Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword until it was bedtime. I never cease to be amazed at how good looking the game looks, despite being only 480p. It's just awesome looking. My beloved Effie is an ace with the Wiimote, too!! She makes some amazing moves with Link's sword in that game, and it's as much fun to watch her play as it is to play!! Moving on...
