    Wonderful weekend with my Sweet Effie!! She made some awesome chicken-fried steak last night, so I was pretty dang happy!! Monday means back to work for once for my beloved Effie!! She had to get up so early in the morning (as in like 0330!) in order to drive up for her job today!! We both set our alarms so we could get up in time to get her off in plenty of time, well before the buttcrack of dawn!! For my part, I'm going to try and work up som mojo and get some stuff moved from the old HQ bunker.

       In Half-life 2, I made it as far as the 'fast zombies', and I relived some of the terror of my first playthru on the game. The sound of those creepy zombies as they gallop towards you in the dark is pretty dang intimidating. Right now, I'm wandering aimlessly around, trying to find my way out of the current section of the game. Moving on...
