    As this auto-posts on the HQ, the third of four work nights is done, the weekend is upon us, and the countdown to coming home to my Sweet Gal is really, really on!! Thank the Good Lord, it's the last night tonight, and tomorrow morning, I can go home to my beloved Effie!! Effie, honey, I love you!!!! I'll be home tomorrow!! 

    I failed to note in yesterday's blog that it was Friday the 13th. If you've got the stupid-stition about that day of the week/date combo, 2012 is going to be a bad year, as this year there are three rather than the normal two Friday the 13ths. What's even worse is that they are exactly 13 weeks apart! Never mind. Friday the 13th has always been lucky for me, and this year is no exception: I'm the luckiest guy on Earth, married to the Love of my Life!! Can't get any better than that!!

     I noted in yesterday's news links that a sequel to Medal of Honor was rumored for 2012. I really enjoyed the single player for the 2010 Medal of Honor 'reboot', thinking it was a lot more understandable and logical than Modern Warfare 2's incomprehensible, if entertaining, single player. Moving on...
