Tifferleigh the Belf rocks on!

Tifferleigh the Belf is rocking hard at the "Lvl85 Tauren Chieftains" concert at the Darkmoon Faire. Her fishingpole a hint at what she does when there's nothing to euthanize within arm's reach. Actually, a few rounds of the island's coast can net you a cool 200gold just by fishing. Sadly, a lot of people have figured that out, so don't even try doing it at prime-time. Fishing there is a Volatile [whatever] bonanza. Entrepeneurs can make a killing there.

At the moment, Tiffer is also caught up in the Valentine's World-event, shooting for the Lovebird-mount. 240 valentine-cards are needed and she has 35 right now. Luckily, she got in on day one and if I can get enough Lovely Charms beyond the Valentine Dailies, that mount is as good as hers. It's just 2 weeks of heavy grinding. I have so little Darkmoon Faire tickets that looking at what can be had for them is pointless. By the time I can get something worthwhile it won't be of use for Tifferleigh, at any rate...

Switching to Horde for me was a good choice. I have been Alliance so long that the fun of playing was gone. With Horde I get new quests and I go places I haven't been before. I even overcame my dislike for Undercity and am not getting lost anymore there. That's a big plus. I started out as Horde initially, but first I got lost something fierce in Orgrimmar and then I got lost in Undercity and I was like "fuck this". I went Alliance and experienced cities that were logically put together. The pinnacle of moronic mazes for a city is Thunderbluff still. My early experiences with WoW-cities however to this day makes me look for alternatives. If I can do my business with a NPC in a village, like trading, crafting and learning skills, I go there and avoid the cities all together. I want to kill stuff and run around looking badass with awesome weapons. Asking directions in a city is something I can do by merely stepping out my frontdoor. Don't need a game for that.

With Tifferleigh I finally am on the track for the Explorer and Loremaster achievements. I've tried this a few times before but the fact that I still was all Alliance kinda wore down on it. With Horde, I'm getting a fresh game in a familiar setting, which makes it fun again even though the basic game doesn't change. I'm guessing I'll be needing 2 weeks to complete the Eastern Kingdoms were it comes to basic Achievement Requirements. For Loremaster you don't need to do all the quests that are available in some regions, for instance. Hillsbrad is a good example. You need 18 quests there, but there are at least 30 available. Tiffer is now in the Hinterlands, and the requirement is 30 quests, and seeing as I only have been doing the Hinterlands entry quests right up to Jintha'Alor and almost done with the requirement, I'm guessing Hinterlands has a lot more quests too.

I hate Jintha'Alor though. The questchain there sends you up and down it three times in a row. I logged in disgust yesterday. LOL.

Re: Switching to horde I have been on Horde side for over a year now. Since I hadn't leveled Alliance side since Cata hit, I decided to roll a fire mage. Like you, I have had a blast with the quests on that side that are either 1 new, or 2 changed enough to make it feel new. I won't be feeling the same once I hit Outlands, though. :P I got the Explorer title on one toon, haven't wanted to get them on the others though. MoP will be bringing battle.net account-wide achievement sharing across all toons. It's not going to cover everything, of course, but I will be happy if it does at least cover Argent Tournament and Explorer titles :) Oh.. Sons of Hodir would be nice too. Okay... I'm done :D

Achievements binding to account is somewhat of a dream for me. I wonder if they will retro-effective?
