Op-Ed: Kinect-ting with my Kinect

So far I've only tried the exercise games on my Kinect and i'm not in love with it. The tracking can be questionable at best. I get really irritated with Your Shape telling me i'm 'out of sync' one second and 'in sync' the next and I haven't done anything different. I'm hoping Mass Effect 3 is going to redeem Kinect for me.

I haven't tried the exercise games yet as I haven't read any with decent reviews. Maybe that's another article topic. :p Would love if anyone has played any that are good to recommend them here!

Erin, enjoyed the article... good job! I have Fitness Evolved 2 and it's a pretty decent game. It has it's flaws for sure, but I do think it was a bit better than the first. I've gotten a good workout the times I did play (kick boxing is pretty fun). While not a fitness game, I'd definitely recommend checking out Children of Eden. Absolutely beautiful game. Only disadvantage is that it's short.

I've heard good things about Children of Eden so you've put me over the edge next time I'm out somewhere that has it in stock!

I def enjoyed your article, i would like to recommend ....kung fu: high impact, me and a buddy played it over the weekend and found it quite hilarious and actually fun to play, some parts are harder than others and i smacked my knuckles off my ceiling a few times trying to pull off some of the moves haha but we had some good laughs...i have gunstringer but havent played it yet but reading your lil review of it def made me want to give it a whirl....thanks and hope to read more about your enjoyment or non enjoyment of the kinect in the future..... another masshole gamer!
