Great info. Was any of it broken down by game genre? I am interested in age ranges in the FPS games.

The NPD Group also tracks similar data, but you have to pay to get access to it, or read about someone's interpretation of the data on a blog like gamasutra. Great write-up though, I always enjoy statistics and data
