Books - digital downloads only, with the occasional title that is only available in physical form
Movies - purchasing - 99% physical, but...I prefer the physical copy to include a digital copy. I'm fine renting digitally though (Amazon, Apple TV, PSN, Xbox Marketplace, Zune whatever it's called).
PC Games - digital downloads only
Console Games - physical preferred, digital only when necessary (XBLA, PSN titles).
Handheld Games - mostly physical, but with the Vita, I'm starting to trend more to digital for ease of portability.
I imagine I'm fairly in line with the general population in the US. Is the physicality of the console more to do with the earlier perception that consoles are toys and toys are more of a physical thing?

I think people feel a more true sense of ownership if they have something physical. Or perhaps feel that it's more value than digital only.

I hated the idea of digital only a few years ago, now I see the benefits. I love turning on a console and being able to choose from a list of games without having to change disks. Same with listening to music. Can you imagine going back to changing CDs every time you wanted to listen to a different song on a different album?
