First, I wanted to thank Sarcasmo Jones & Shamrogue for their input regarding my last blog entry. After considering what you guys said & not giving it any further thought (to avoid the possibility of self-sabotage), I decided to do all three, but not start them all immediately...
I started up a new Podcast with my buddy Chris - GeekDig. The plan is to talk video games, movies, all the geek shit. We have two episodes posted so far, and we're recording our third on Sunday. I'm following a podcasting subreddit, met up with some fellow podcasters on Twitter, and am getting some pretty good input so far. And I've confirmed my first official guest - Melissa Hutchison, who voiced Clementine in the Walking Dead game, and does a lot with Telltale Games. If so inclined, here is where you can find it:
iTunes: Search for "GeekDig Podcast"
Stitcher: Search for "GeekDig Podcast"
Libsyn: geekdig.libsyn.com
Twitter: @vengefuljedi or @GeekDigCast
FB: facebook.com/geekdigcast
In my spare time, I'm working on my indie RPG. I decided that my first project is going to suck ass by default, so my first game will be for my nephew Jordan's birthday (turns 8 in November). I've only made a couple character sprites so far, but that's more than I've done before.
I set up a YouTube page, but have yet to start work on any videos. I'm waiting til my podcast grows a little bit (and I get my Xbox One). I do have a Game Capture device & all the equipment I'll need, so it's just a matter of time. As far as the Xbox One, looks like I'm buying mine in just over a week.
Anyway, that's it for now. Catch you guys later.

I liked it...it has a real natural and unforced flow to it. However, that Mason guy has kind of a booming voice and it sounded like your mic wasn't as loud as his...I think you guys should equalize the volume so one guy isn't louder than the other. Thanks for the heads up on the Deadpool trailer...that thing is fucking hilarious.

Thanks for the input. Fortunately, Mason & Usaell are good friends of mine, so it was easy to keep the natural flow (even with cutting out nearly an hour of stuff). I'll start looking into the vocal equalization issue. I'm still learning the ins & outs of editing sound, so I'll hit up Google & YouTube throughout the weekend.
And that Deadpool trailer had me fucking rolling too... :)

I am always looking for new podcasts to listen to in the car on my commute. I just subscribed and am currently downloading the 2 episodes. Looking forward to hearing it.

I am enjoying the show so far and agree with the audio comments. I listen in the car over my stereo and it sounds like your mic is the right channel and the other guy is coming out of the left channel. Other than that though I dig the conversation and will keep listening.

Thanks for listening! :) Just curious, was the audio split on both episodes? I couldn't duplicate it on my own, but I heard after the first episode that a few people experienced that. I edited & saved Episode 2's audo as a mono track, but am curious if that fixed the equalization or if I need to try something else. But I'm glad you liked it otherwise. :)

Second episode was better but your volume level was still lower than the other two hosts.
I am have way through the second episode and really enjoy it. Love the natural conversation. The dynamic is great with the three of you.

Thanks for the input! Glad you're enjoying it so far, despite my noob-like editing abilities... but I'm getting better. :)
