Thinking bout that a bit... I like a combo of that with PB idea
this is a really quick doodle of what i was thinking. naturally i will make some changes prob add some braids to the beard. also make the lynx look older and wiser.

I like the idea of referring to the LYNX of the previous games.
As for an image how does this sound.
A Lynx warrior like the one in the pic that was posted but, have it look older and wizer.
The armour would be more ornate like a Paladin.
