Nintendo plans to show off their new Duck Hunt at E3 2006 TODAY. The game is supposed to be playable and use the Wii controller to shoot.
Duck Hunt, the original launch title for the NES is back for the Wii. This is not a "virtual console" game that emulates the NES, its a brand new shooter that takes advantage of the Wii controller as a gun.
This is an example of Nintendo showing the world that they are looking for fun games and not just eye candy (how good can duck hunt II really look?). Is the plan to renew the interest of the old time gamers knowing the demographic is showing 30 year olds are the new "hardcore gamers"?
Its not the next DOOM, but that doesn't mean it cannot be radical man.
