Post Server merge thoughts
So what's everyone's thoughts on the new server? It is so nice to have a ton of people on . General Chat is full of people looking for groups, guild info. There's an actual economy. And Warzones are popping instantly. In fact I just wrapped up a night of warzones, I'm now 3 pieces in on Battle Master gear. The repub side still seems to win more, which is nice as I've been focusing on the trooper.
did not get many chances of playing sober yet, so hard to remember most.
But I do find that getting into pvp matches takes less time. I still need LFD and LFR tools. Can't joing groups via chat , since I dont know the abreviations that people use :(.
yes. i like that ther server is now busy. easier to get into wz and i have even starting doing heroics again because there actually enough people on a planet to do them.
Planet populations have been great. I've been through Nar Shaddaa, Tatooine, and now Alderaan. Got ganked by 50s on Tatooine and heard people complaining about 50s on Alderaan last night. So, that's good to see a lot of action on the planets themselves. Warzones usually take 3-5 minutes to pop. I don't usually get instant pops right after leaving a wz. But it's better than up to an hour or more. On Warriors of the Shadows I could do all my dailies on Illum and Corellia while waiting on the queue.
I've been crafting for myself so I haven't tested out the GTN yet. I was able to sell a Purple Prototype vest for a level 29 Marauder for 19.5K. I doubt that would've sold on the old server. I remember trying to sell things like that for 4 or 5K and no one would take it. Once I build some extra resources I'll try making some War Hero or Battlemaster augmented stuff and see if it sells.
