Apparently Volition's Saints Row is already queued up for a patch due to single player and multiplayer issues.
The games developer, Volition, has acknowledge the issues and are "working hard to fix them." The current multiplayer issue is based around the "connecting..." screen when joining games or lobbies in online play. The issue? It just continues to hang at "connection..." with no further progress.
The other network issue revolves around the legendary network lag" that seems to occur in many of the Xbox Live game releases. The most probably cause in testing is due to scale, you can only test so many simultanious users.
However, I'd think that the constant hardware with the max number of players would be all that is needed for testing. Perhaps its based on location and all the variables that occur on this thing we call the Internet.
Or perhaps, as one wise man once said, "the Internet is a series of tubes," and it could take you three days to get your "Internet" to your PC?
Thanks TANK for this information
