Thursday Night - Site Wide - Casual Competitive Halo: REACH
Every Thursday Night ~9:00 to 11:00 Eastern I'll be hosting a Halo REACH party (soon to be Halo 4). Any member of 2old2play.com can participate. If your Clan party is full, jump in here and stay for a game or two.
For now I will be relying on my own FL and those of attendees. Send me an XBLive text message with "Inv" in it if you have to.
If the party gets full, someone may/will be asked to host a second party. Or you could start your own party using similar attributes. Parties should comply with the attributes listed below but variation will depend on many factors.
Attributes of the Thurday Night Open Party:
Party Settings: Friends Only, to allow easy access to the party. Please police your friends that are not 2old2play members, but we are not about booting out good people who might join 2old2play.
Customs only. No Matchmaking between 9:00 and 11:00 Eastern.
All Skill ranges: That means terrible to excellent.
Your personal attitude: Should be very forgiving and fun loving for this event.
Style of Gameplay: Casual competitive. Even scrubs want to win.
Gametypes: Mostly Default Slayer, CTF and Assault to slightly odd custom variants (not vomit inducing endless confusion). Betrayal Booting will be turned off.
Maps: Mostly Default with a few custom variants. This is not a night for experimenting on newly built maps. I figure some people will not have DLC maps so we go with just disk based if we have to.
Tbagging: Of course but use discretion. I welcome a good Tbag because I will then hunt you down like a dog and give you a prize you won't forget. ;)
Other Personal Conduct: 2old2play's TOS should be a benchmark but I have not fleshed out this point yet..

If I am slow to get out an invite it could because my scattered self is overloaded, try sending a msg with "Inv" in it. I can send an invite from that too.
Deep, would this be too crazy of a thing to do during the Halo 4 launch window?

When I left to start the third room I believe I passed it over to Single wing. we probably could have had a 4th room
I saw another room pop up for a good stretch in there too. I counted four rooms with a minumum of 10 players - most had more than 10.
I'd just like to also thank Fire for keeping all the females together in his room each time we separated so we could be sure to "fellowship" one another- good thinking Fire
It was a blast! Looking forward to playing with the other 30 members I missed next week!

so bummed i didn't make it for this.
Great fun last night. There were a ton of people I had recognized from the site that I had never played Halo with. I'll be sure to make it next Thursday as well. Thanks to everyone who ran the rooms.
i was only in for a couple of games but, it was awsome.
even though i played horribly and got my ass handed to me repeatedly it was still fun.
my only highlight of the night was actually managing an assasination on i believe was Fury..gif "5")
i believe i will join in on the fun again next week.

I didnt even know it was going on until I turned on my xbox for some Battlefield and saw that everyone was playing Reach instead.
Being the sheep that I am, I popped in Reach and had a good time?
thats how it happened with me as well.
like a lemming i followed and somehow ended up in DEEP room.
after seeing all the high ranking players in the room i was about shit myself.
