It looks like the Wii will make it's Kiosk debut at a GameStop near you.
In stark contrast to an announcement made by Sony committing to have 15,000 PS3 kiosks at retailers in time for this years holiday season, an article in the Dallas Morning News quotes Steve Morgan, president of Gamestop, as saying the Nintendo Wii demo kiosks will be exclusive to Gamestop stores.
Gamestop was a little elusive when asked about the arrival date of the kiosks saying only, “mid November.” With pre-orders unlikely after the fiasco that was the XBOX 360 launch, expect some very long lines on November 19th. If you’re lucky enough to live near one of Gamestops’ 1472 retail locations, you’ll have the chance to experience the Wii-mote first-hand before purchasing a Nintendo Wii. Those of us who don’t will just have to chance it.
