Microsoft Store giving 1600pts with Pre-Orders
Pretty sweet deal running over at Microsoft right now. They have 10 of the hottest games of 2013 up for pre-order and you get a bonus 1600pt code . Standard shipping is free, so if you don't mind waiting a few days to get your game once it comes out, it's a pretty good offer I think.
Games on the promo include:
Tombraider, Bioshock Infinite, GTA5, Lost Planet 3, Metal Gear Rising, Crysis 3, Army of Two, Tiger Woods, Dead Space 3 and South Park : Stick of Truth.
Offer valid until April 6th (or until the game launches since then it wouldn't be a pre-order)
That's cool. No games really coming out this year that have my attention though.
Nice ! I will go for Miss Lara :)
I was looking at Bioshock Infinite.... Hmmmmmm.
Which/what store(s) really have/has the best purchase prices, overall? Gamestop with their reward system, trade in bonus percentages; Best Buy, Amazon with super saver and no state tax? Any math majors know??
To me, that answer is how much money is coming out of my pocket per purchase. I usually consume games quickly enough that I get decent buyback prices from gamestop. So i usually pay 30-35 bucks per new standard edition title that I buy because of their trade in program. Plus you get 'points' that build up for a reward.
Other sites also have this trade-in program and sometimes offer better prices. Amazon for example, except with 'Zon, you have to deal with the shipping times and the game arriving. I don't like that, i want the game now.
Best Buy if you have one with a trade-in kiosk so you can get instant in-store credit, they could compete with Gamestop. I just don't have any around me anymore since they closed so many stores. But if you have one around you and are a rewardzone memeber, they do compete pretty well with gamestop for new games.
