I'm really enjoying Tomb Raider so far, looks like the year and a half delay was well worth the wait. It looks amazing, plays really well, good tension/story... it's got everything except an equally awesome multiplayer.
Tomb Raider has been a great game to play. I do not know if I will call it GOTY but it will be up there for me. I believe I am only about halfway throught it at this point, but that is only because Saturday night turned into a night of beer and Cards Against Humanity, and since I am no longer young anymore Sunday was recovery time.
Anyways, TR reminds me of a bit of a darker Uncharted. Forget the jetsetting around the world, its a single island that wants you dead. Death comes fast and frequently, and seems to always be graphic and heart wrenching at the same time. And since I am an archer, having the bow is awesome.
The game is intense, stressful and epic, all wrapped up in a nice bow (get it?). This is going to be one of my top games of the year for sure.
