Loved the first episode. Can't wait to see where this show goes. I just hope that I remembered to set the dvr. For some reason, I think I forgot. Crap.....
This is a REALLY good show and is fairly accurate in telling Ragnar Lodbrok's "story" according to Norse saga. I am interested to see if it continues to be accurate, if they keep it semi-accruate with their own "additions", or if the History Channel keeps the story completely accurate according to Norse Saga.
I have been VERY impressed with the mini-series that the History Channel has shown in the past 6 months to a year. They have been absolutely fantastic. I really can't think of any other time that I have been excited to see new mini-series from the History Channel. But with Mankind: The Story of Us, The Men Who Built America, The Hatfield and McCoy's, and The Bible, and now Vikings, it is turning in to must see stuff for me the night it airs instead of catching a rerun whenever. I hope the History Channel keeps up the great programming =o)
If you're not watching this show, you should be. It's really good, and as the full episodes are updated on history's site every 2 weeks there's no reason not to watch it.

I did not think it was too bad either. I stumbled on it when I was surfing. I am glad I did.
This show is really good. The best debut history's ever had. Gabriel byrne is evil as hell in it too.
