Hello from the Outer Banks
Hello from the Outer Banks
Hey everybody. Like a bunch of others I had never heard about this site until I read the article in the WSJ. My reaction was "THIS IS BRILLIANT!" A website dedicated to adults who like to play video games? Genius! But how would I prove that I'm really 35 (which I am) and not 15? What questions could I answer? It made me think about my early gaming days on an Intellivision ii. The pride I felt when I got a high score in Pitfal, or Stampede (anyone remember that one?) or Nightstalker all came back to me.
Then I had an NES like every other kid I knew. Eventually I begged and pleaded my way into getting a Sega Genesis (which I still have and it still works, however the controllers have seen better days). As I got out of college, I got the PS2, a Wii, and finally the PS3 and Vita. Now I spend most of my time playing the PS3 and Vita, though my friends list is really sparse. I just don't know many people playing either.
So if anyone out there is looking to friend someone who plays God of War, Uncharted, FIFA, Unit 13, and a list of others, hit me up. My PSN name is the same as my user account here. And if you ever bump into me in Journey and I'm just wandering around and run away from you, it's probably because I let my daughter take the controller and play. She loves roaming around the open world games but doesn't really know what she's doing.
Welcome to the site.
I'm only on the Xbox but have a look around and get stuck in.
Cheers
