Okay, the PS3 is actually a bit more than twice the power. Where a PS3 utilizes 380 watts of power the Xbox 360 is using 160 watts of power.
What does that mean to consumers? An additional hidden charge of $40.00 a year in electric bills if gamers want to play the PS3 roughly two hours a day. The Nintendo Wii will probably hold the lowest power consuming numbers, however, Nintendo hasn't released the figures yet. The Wii is supposed to be left running 24-hours a day so that might cause any gains in efficiency to be thrown out the window.
