Are you buying the Wii because of its retro virtual console? Here is the title list that is expected to be online by the end of the year...
Not all titles are "launch titles," but Nintendo says all will be available by the end of December. The list contains some hits, some ok games and some that we didn't buy then... and probably won't buy now.

Nintendo says they want to push out 10 games a month. Hopefully each month will contain at least three hot titles from the original gaming franchises. Please note, Super Mario Bros. is not on the list - although Mario Bros. can be found.
If you are buying the Wii for the retro content, this list should allow you to decide on a pre-order or to wait until '07 and see what comes next.
