Hey guys due to some steam technical frustration we have decided to move our BTCC series to rfactor.
the following is a cut and paste from the GBR site with all the details....
I am thinking of switching our r07 sat btcc series over to rf1 for our upcoming season. I've got a mod with everything working properly, sound , ballast, and proper track configurations. The series will run bi weekly starting the first week of may and will be holding test sessions every sat till than for those interested. We currently have a ft grid of 7 but hoping to add more entrants by making the move to rf1
Rules
10min qualifying
X2 lapped races determined on rl distances per track avg 20 min races
Avg 1 hr in total
Ballast will be added after the first race results and will carry over to the next race qualifying
Points will be gbr point system

Important info:
UserData/UserName/PLR file find the following lines under Sound options and change to the following
Vehicle Scrubbing VolMult="0.0002750352"
Vehicle Skidding VolMult="0.0006020703"
hit save
theres 2 tracks included just drag and drop into your locations file
*Make sure you add the BTCC multimas fix*
Addons iam aware work the mod are fanaleds, xd and map track plug in not sure about the rest

Sorry for the inconvience, but we felt this was the best move to make things simpler and atract more racers for the series. I gave some guys some sound tweaks earlier please change and use the ones listed above.

Welcome David, hope you enjoy your time with us. Most of us dabble in those other sims too and we will be looking into some races using the newer sims down the line, but for BTCC nuts there is nothing near ready so we stick with the tried and tested. R07 became a pain in the behind for one reason and another, so this season we are going to use rF1, should work out better in the long run.
We are still quite a new group, though we are all active in other leagues this one is our baby, we are relaxed and see this as first and foremost fun, though the racing is sometimes intense. Hope you have a specialty...Church drives on his roof and sends up smoke signals on every corner, Kurupt is either in the lead or 2 laps down moaning that nothing feels like it did yesterday, Never does great until he passes me and then throws it away on the next corner. Me? well that I will keep secret until we race, then you can make up your own mind.

Also,
We are all a bunch of smartasses so laughs are had before, during and after each race.
Church = Hax (I am sure of it)
Knight = no matter what is always just a second or less in front of me, every damn race
Kurupt = usually fighting with church for first
helios = usually battling with me and knight, <sarcasm>that is when he bothers to grace us with his presence</sarcasm>
There are a few others but we are the ones that show up pretty much for each race.

Yeah, yeah. Saturdays are tough for me, especially since this falls late morning, early afternoon. I'm frequently off working on projects or out of town...especially as the weather gets nicer. I'll try to be there when I can.

Still waiting for my new wheel to arrive but should get it early next week. I'll be good to go then!
Will the server be up during the week? I want to jump on for a practise with the new wheel and to check that I installed the BTCC pack correctly.
Also, is there a plan yet for this seasons race calendar?
