Mark Webber Leaving F1 For ALMS
That's right folks. Mark webber is leaving team Red Bull 7 F1 to join Porsch's new LMP1 effort in the ALMS.

Good for Mark. I wondered how long he was going to put up with being trodded upon by his own teammate.
That's a mighty fine lineup Porsche has there. Lots of endurance pros.
Couldn't agree more!!!
Porsche is actually competing in the WEC, not ALMS. ALMS is actually dead after this year too. Starting next year the merged ALMS/Grand Am series (USCR) will be underway, and there is no provisions for P1 cars. Perhaps we'll still see them at a couple of the long races (Sebring, Daytona, Petit), assuming the US will still get a couple rounds for the World Endurance Championship.
Will be interesting to see who they pair Seb with. Unfortunately though whomever it is will know going in that they will be the red headed step child. Would love to see Kimi go to Red Bull just see the fun that would unfold between him and Seb.gif)
Anyways I hope Mark has a succesful run at Porsche and look forward to watching him race.
