Two missions I've had real trouble with:

Demon of Lynchwood and Ol' Slappy.  How do you as a solo player deal with a mission that's designed for a four-person crew?

I don't exactly enjoy watching my best shield and all my life points evaporate because the boss decides to one-hit me simply by making its' appearance on the map!  I spent 3 hours and every penny my Zero had dispatching Dukino's mom over the weekend.  I'd hop down into the mine hearing gunfire from the bandits and thinking I had a chance to do some damage, only to have her snap her head towards me and do the one-hit energy beam.  Or, watching her destroy the rocks that were your only source of cover, then running in circles until the action skill recharged.

Ah, Slappy.  Place the arm, then watch your shield and life disappear when he pops up out of the water.  I did, however find a way to deal with him--I placed the arm then ran back to a ladder I saw on a cargo box, got up on the road and hunkered down by a guard rail and did some careful sniping from there.

Challenge is one thing; that's Ninja Gaiden games.  Stupidly difficult are Demon of Lynchwood and Slappy.

For Demon Hunter, use the fence by the elevators for cover. If she looks your way, crouch.

I guess there's a sweet spot by that elevator fence--first few times I tried crouching there, she blasted me anyway.  Now, after watching a few vids on this fight, I see you have to be hugging the thing; and as a result, I can farm her for Eridium.  I remember one respawn I ran into 3 shock skags before I got there which was interesting in itself!

For Ol' Slappy, litter the area with some slag boucing betties then hit the thresher with some fire weapons.

Any tips on doing the babysitting mission from the Tiny Tina DLC? I know it tells you that you should bring friends and that may just be the easiest way. I tried solo with my Mechromancer character thinking that my deathtrap would be a huge help, but I was wrong.
