Sounds promising:

- Both rental and subscription plans will be available
- PS4, PS3, Vita, and 2014 Sony Bravia TVs will be supported initially, expanding to other platforms in the future
- PS3 games will be supported at launch, with nothing to announce regarding older, back catalog (that is, PS2, PS1) games yet
- Games will stream at 720p resolution
- Games can be saved in the cloud, letting you pick up your saved game on another device later
- Multiplayer is supported between players using PlayStation Now, as well as the ability to play against people who are playing using a disc
- 5Mbps broadband connection recommended
I have tried OnLive and am very, very skeptical about Playstation Now. There was a noticeable delay in every game I tried. On games that require fast reflexes, this proved to be an issue that could not be overcome. For example, the baseball game I tried hitting was nearly impossible. There were also times when gameplay was paused do to buffering. Some days were worse than others. Can Sony overcome these issues? Possible. I'm not getting overly excited though.
Ploygon said there was some minor noticible lag but even with big action games like God of War, it was still a viable solution for streaming games:

But I agree...definitely a "wait and see" thing.
