Well, I thought they had. I had completed once on normal which would allow you to go back and play any chapter, out of order if you wanted to, and (I think) unlock hardest mode. In any event after the normal run,it acted as though I had never played and nothing I found, tags, guns, or the game saves, stuck. I waited until one of the patches about middle of Dec I think that I played it and was able to finish all the crap. Thank god for that. So I assumed it was fixed.
