Guitar Hero 2 has responded to the Whammy Bar issues with a brand new patch released today!
As of 4am Pacific Time this morning Red Octane website is saying they’re a patch available via Xbox Live that "should resolve the situation where input from the whammy bar was not always recognized."
Red Octane reported a week ago that there were two models of there Xbox 360 guitars that were defective. This still doesn’t explain some reports of sticky yellow frets or complaints of “shocks” by some owners, but the original whammy bar issue should be resolved.
