Grumbles: for $500 million they couldnt come up with anything better than ripping off Borderlands?
I'm playing it but yeah, its just Borderlands with the humor removed.
Also, why won't it let me join anyone's game? Always says its too difficult for me, thats very annoying, I can only invite people to my game? You guys wont want to play with a feeble level 8!! Will I have to be level 20 before that changes?
The 500 mil is myth for the release version. I think the 500 mil is a figure that represents the 10 year life they want to get out of the game. You won't be able to, nor want to, join PvE missions much above your level. High level friends shouldn't mind joining your games to help or play socially. Even at level 8 you'll notice level 2 enemies doing patrol missions.
Yeah the $500 million is for the life span, promotions etc.. Not just this 1 game. Like Pyro said, you can't join games that are way over your level since they enemy will just look at you and you would die.
Just use the XBL menus to join other people's games, not quite sure why they don't let you do this in the game but ya know...
