I am willing to argue that very few of us really like February. It's the last full month of winter, you have come down from Christmas/Holiday season high, Valentines day is never something to look forward to and it never makes up it's mind as to how many days it's actuallu going to have! I apologize to those of you, like my daughter, that are born in February but its just a nothing kind of month overall. The good news is that game publishers realize this and dump a bunch of games on us. The bad news is that there are only ever a few good titles mixed in with that dump. This week is looking hit and miss. I tried to weed out the obvious misses like Agatha Christie: The ABC Murders and left you with some possible candidates for hits.
Cobalt
Release Date: February 2nd, 2016

You may have heard of a little development studio called Mojang. They created a little hit game called Minecraft and then subsequently got bought out by Microsoft for a paltry $2.5 Billion dollars. Cobalt is their third game and it is significantly different from their others. Side scrolling action adventure and not in 8bit blocks! Adventure mode, Multiplayer and user generated content are some of the options to look forward to. This game looks fun...and hard...and fun!
