This week we’ve got some indies as well as AAA titles landing. SquEnix (I wish the’d just officialy change their name to that) is reviving the Htiman series in episodic form and there’s more point and click adventure coming my way!
Shardlight
Release Date: March 8, 2016
Platforms: PC
Wadjeteye puts out some pretty solid point and click adventures with great interactive storytelling. I’m currently playing one of their older titles Emerald City Confidential and thoroughly enjoying it.I do love dystopian adventures so hopefully this will live up to my expectations!

The trailer for this games makes you wonder if it's a videogame or a block buster movie. Set in alternate history Manhattan you’re looking to bring order back to the city. The new game play nuance in this version of the Clancy franchise is storms and weather can affect the outcomes of your battles and strategy. If it's anything like my commutes when I lived in NY I predict the tiniest bit of rain will cause enough gridlock to as to render trying to go anywhere by vehicle impossible.

I love point and click adventures but am not a huge fan of survival horror and I can’t quite tell which this is. Someone should play this one and tell me how it is….oh wait that’s my job right?
