Rockstar’s Table Tennis Coming To The Wii

Rockstar Games has a plan, bring in tons of crazy cash by exploiting the capabilities of the Nintendo Wii. They're presenting, Table Tennis.,, You remember that lower cost game on the Xbox 360 that many folks enjoyed? What console should be able to take full advantage of the concepts Table Tennis had to offer? Wii!

“Ever since we released Table Tennis, fans have been asking us to create a Wii version,” said Rockstar founder and executive producer Sam Houser. “By bringing Table Tennis to the Wii and utilizing the motion-sensitive Wii Remote, a new audience can now experience a game that is beautifully designed and impossible to put down.”

This release is brand new -- not a port of the original Xbox 360 version. The two main points in that statement:

• Graphics will fit the Wii better (probably nothing like the Xbox 360 ones)
• The Wii remote can be fully implemented, not shimmed into the system

The game is a collaborative effort between the original development team in San Diego and one of the teams in England.
