Coffee Memoirs: Segways, a means of getting from one thing or place to another. The Segway vehicle was a quirky piece of tech wasn’t it? Guided tour groups were using them as all the rage for quite a few years and made some great fail videos for amusement. I was searching electric transport recently and saw that they have grown into even more modes of personal transportation with electric scooters, dirt e-bikes, go karts and some other odd stuff. Using transportation… I am going to an Island soon and they have bikes and electric scooters for rent, so I really want to give it a go! To get to that island we are taking a ferry boat… yeah, a boat is my Segway into the first game.

Vampires must be master strategists, they sleep all day while hiding from the sun and not getting staked, manipulate the weaker races to pay them tribute and know where all the hot chicks are at to bite their necks. You know that’s going to piss off the villagers with that last one alone. Yup, a strategic turn-based vampire game… no way you saw that coming. 3 main clans to play to basically play Risk with on a battlefield and regional scale with card-based gameplay. Ha, another surprise element!
Jump Force: Deluxe Edition for Switch, August 28. Wont waste your time, if you wanted it for Switch… now is the time! Already out for PC, XBO and PS4.

I can feel the hate in advance for this, uh, asking for a friend…is the NFL still a thing? Is this now a fantasy game? Can you even do the Statue of Liberty play? Can you bring back famous players in their primes or from the dead and use them in a zombie celebrity player mode? Can you get a Tanya Harding for the sidelines? (Bit of a stretch but sounds fun.) Big Head Mode? Just… needs some spice! The Yard mode maybe... Looks like they want to play streetball so why not give it a Space Jam twist? One of the all-time best-selling games, huge following… its like a cult.

Project Cars 3

Do you enjoy a racing campaign mode, working on and customizing your cars? This looks a bit like Gran Turismo to me now which is a good bit of a rework from the previous editions of the game. (Which I did not own, however I did own the original Gran Turismo.) So, speaking from experience (or lack of), this is the type of game that Ricky-Bobby might like to play at least until he has his breakdown. Be neat if they had a career mode where you can play as someone like Ricky-Bobby, one of the Dukes of Hazard Boys or even as one of the Grand Tour hosts. Sounds cool but I think I ended up on the Mario Kart spectrum with those choices anyhow.

Crowd funded roleplaying game finally making its appearance. Set in a post-apocalyptic Colorado, you will fight tyranny in the hopes of restoration… but of what? Robot Reagan who hates commies? Your choices will matter and will affect your game as you move forward. Meanwhile, enjoy blood thirsty enemies and gory scenes. I don’t know, they may have had me at robot Reagan.
