Don’t you just love it when a big chain accidentally (?) breaks the release date of a hotly anticipated game? Well, according to reports at NEOGaf, Toys R Us has been selling copies of Bioshock a week before its intended release date.
While this may cause problems for publishers, all it does is make me decide to rush to Times Square to see if any copies are lingering at the Toys R Us there.
Ever get a game way before the intended release date? It’s not a game, but I got a VHS copy of The Iron Giant complete with the cheesy vulcanized rubber giant about 2 weeks before release. I’d say I was the envy of every kid on the block, but I was 30 at the time.
