Unfortunately for many gamers, the Xbox Live! issues that occurred last night made us remember why we're happy paying a yearly subscription. What do you do without your friends?
Last night many of us failed to login to the Call of Duty 4 beta or match make with Forza 2 and other games with the "Live Enabled" stickers.
We were warned, but many of us assumed the xbox.com downtime wouldn't impact us too much. Alas, we were stuck in lobbies by ourselves for 15 minutes at a time just trying to find a single random gamer to play with.
Friend game invites was nothing but stressful as we click "accept invite" to be dropped out of any game and back to the main menu. This makes us remember how much we're dependent on each other and the services we've been given access to over the years. What would we do without the LIVE! experience?
Users may experience intermittent issues trying to perform match making transactions on Xbox Live. We are working to resolve this issue and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
For many of us, pondering the idea of no Internet access is much like pondering the length of the universe. We think about it for a few seconds and become frustrated with contemplating the 'unknown.' We're sure a bunch of our gaming community would have to find something else to do with their time... going outside, tossing a frisbee or kicking a ball. *shutter*
