With the launch of V3 coming “soon” and the post-holiday game release hiatus coming to a close, this is the perfect time for us to finally ramp up our site content with more game reviews, more gaming news and more older gamer awesomeness. Read on to learn how you can help!
Do you bore your family and friends with talk of video game plots, characters or graphics? Do you often forget special dates related to your significant other but can remember the exact date/year the first Halo game released? Are you tired of seeing the front page of the 2old2play website covered with Dsmooth and Codemonkey’s ugly mugs?
Well, fret no longer, for 2o2p has a job for you! Ok, so it’s not really a job in the sense that that you get paid, unless you consider the undying affection and appreciation of your 2o2p community. Yeah, I didn’t think so. Read on if you’re still interested anyway.
Qualifications
- Passion for video games and a plethora of knowledge about them. Bonus points for you if you didn’t have to look up “plethora” or ask one of your kids what it means.
- A basic understanding of the English language and how to write using it. You don’t need to be a grammatical genius. That’s what Editors are for!
- Ability to produce content quickly and meet deadlines.This probably doesn’t need any explanation.

In the email, please include the following:
- a sample (or link to a sample) of your writing
- the game platform(s) you’re most familiar with (Xbox, PS3, PC, mobile, handheld, Wii)
- the types of games you’re most familiar with (Shooters, RPG, Adventure, etc)
- how often you’d be willing to write content (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly)
