Another week is upon us in gaming and it is quite a week of releases! There’s also this little game coming out that you may have heard of.... Mass Effect 3! If you’re a baseball fan, this is a great week for you as well with many new games out for you to swing for.
Without further ado, here are the releases for this week.
Multiplatform Releases
Mass Effect 3 (360, PS3, PC): Nothing to see here, move along.... just the sequel to the revolutionary space RPG. Oh yeah, some multiplayer action too. No big deal.
Major League Baseball 2K12 (360, PS3, Wii, PSP, PC): The longest running baseball franchise goes multiplatform crazy.
Street Fighter X Tekken (360, PS3): Yet another battle crossover as this time Street Fighter takes on the fighters of Tekken. What’s next?! Street Fighter vs Thundercats????
Top Gun: Hard Lock (360, PS3): For anyone unaware of the movie this game is based on... watch it immediately. Also do not play this game unless you’re dangerous.
XBOX 360
2K Sports MLB 2K12/NBA 2K12 Combo Pack: For those 2K sports fanatics that just can’t decide between 2K baseball and 2K basketball, why not get both 2K? Also known as the Michael Jordan “was-really-good-at-one-of-these-sports-but-not-the-other” pack. Oh yeah... 2K.
Playstation 3
MLB 12: The Show: This baseball game is the major league contender to the 2K series without all the annoying 2K’s. XBOX baseball fans weep in sadness.
Playstation Vita
Unit 13: This Vita original is a third person military shooter. Game also includes co-op player modes.
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7: Harry Potter and Lego’s introduction to the Vita that includes the last few books of the series.
Nintendo 3DS
CRUSH3D: Remake of the puzzle platformer Crush from PSP. But this time, in full fledged 3D!!!
PC
The Sims 3: Showtime: A game for those Sims fanatics that wanted to be a singer, acrobat, magician or DJ. Your sim can now be one too. There is also a Katy Perry special edition. Seriously, that is not a joke..... unless you’re Russell Brand.
Arcade
I Am Alive (360 Arcade, PSN): This is a survival adventure game by Ubisoft. It takes place after a devastating event, creatively called The Event, which wiped out most of humanity. The main character attempts to reunite with his wife and daughter.
