I’m extremely pleased to announce that as of the beginning of May, we now have 14 people on the 2old2play Writing Staff, including myself. With our latest call for writers, our staff doubled in size! As with our previous batch of writers, we have some very familiar names in the mix, as well as a few 2o2p newbies. Please give them all a warm welcome as only we know how to do!

Tim “ChunkySoup” Dorscher started his gaming career with a bit of luck. His Tiny-Mite hockey team had a “pay what you pull” draw that netted his parents $300. The next morning, his parents foolishly let the family put their wish lists in a hat and drew a name. That fateful day started it all as not only was his name picked, he came home with an Atari 2600 with Combat and Dodge’em. Many consoles and PC upgrades later, he still likes blowing stuff up and refuses to use his brakes. He loves playing games on his own or with his two kids, fetch with his dogs and sitting on the couch for a little co-op gaming with Mrs.Soup.
Delano
Delano, aka Mark Del, is a 30-year-old gamer hailing from Johannesburg, South Africa. Working in IT, his interests include games (naturally), computers, music, art, reading, history, languages, religion and politics. When he's not working on computers or playing games, Delano will often be found immersed in the works of Harry Turtledove, sketching or spending time with friends. Delano's platform of choice is the PC, although he owned a NES and a Sega Megadrive many moons ago. He has a keen interest in FPS and platform games, and is a particular aficionado concerning the indie scene.
Dogmatic
Shawn "Dogmatic" Vales is a lover of both Music and Games. He currently resides in Maryland, plotting for world domination and rooting for the Redskins. His favorite type of games tend to be Adventure, First Person Shooters, Music Simulation, RPG's and Survival Horror. When not playing games, he's building up his music collection and Tweeting relentlessly.

Loki619 resides in Southern California and is a gamer, dad, husband, full time financial aid/culinary school administrator, and freelance commercial photographer. When he isn't behind a console, computer, or camera, he can be found spending time with his family, experimenting with food in the kitchen, geeking out on comic books, manga, anime, or graphic novels, or working out at the gym to help increase his character stats as he currently has a THAC0 of 3.
Sarcasmo Jones
Rod “Sarcasmo Jones” Wymer has been a gamer since he rolled his first ten-sided dice and played Defender at a 7-11 back in the 80s. His first love is racing games, but he has a soft spot for good, turn-based RPGs. Rod writes political humor for http://theamericanleft.com under the pen name "Sarcasmo Jones." He was working towards a Bachelors Degree in game and simulation programming and hopes to finish if he can ever get his finances straight. His greatest accomplishment in life would have to be an essay he wrote regarding rock music trends in the 60s. His most embarrassing moment would have to be his 4th spelling bee defeat by the word "beachcomber", a word he still refuses to use to this day...he calls them "sandsifters."

TANK aka TANK 2old2play on Live hails from the west coast, splitting his time between the mountains of Eastern Washington and Northern California. He has been a staple here on 2old2play since July 2005 and over those years has contributed heavily in the forums with 20,000+ posts, maintained a top 10 blog, written for the former 2old2play eMagazine and has contributed news articles for the front page. He is a dedicated Xbox 360 gamer, Achievement Whore and an all around technophile.

Alfredo “TwiztdFred” Garcia Jr hails from South Texas, where he grew up in the City by the Sea. Now living in California, his love of gaming began in the eighties when he got his first console, the Super Nintendo, and he has been hooked since then. He has been married going on twelve years and his wife, Marla, is the best. She is actually the one who bought most of his consoles. Father to six, yes six, oldest twelve, youngest two, who are all budding gamers. He has been in the Navy for almost twelve years. An electrician by trade and works on helicopters, he’s been around the world and has the pictures to prove it. Juggalo by choice, for those who know, Whoop Whoop. Gaming is a passion that he takes to heart, as he is always willing to try new games and ready to help those who ask.
